2004121901 PDF Content. I've added autogeneration of PDF versions of selected Web pages for convenience. The output is crude, but functional. It is generated using customized DocBook FO stylesheets, whose output is converted to PDF by Apache FOP. Given some of the formatting problems with Apache FOP, I plan to try PassiveTeX in the future.

2004082401 Java Pro Live! 2004. I'll be speaking at Java Pro Live! 2004 in Boston in October. I'll be giving an introduction to aspect-oriented programming and hosting a panel session on Open Source and Java. It should be interesting.
2004081701 Web Site Renovation. After much neglect, I'm going to make an effort to keep this Web site useful. The plan is to make available code and programming tips that don't make it into my columns or Apache contributions. I've migrated the existing content to DocBook and though I'm not into Wiki or blogs, I'll see about making an RSS feed available if warranted.
